ALT: Anda PVC soffit panel production line
Soffit panel line — another one of those extrusion lines that you cannot turn a corner with. It demands a direct, free-of-obstruction run from the mixer at one end to the stacking rack on its opposite side, because the equipment follows a fixed production order. If a buyer arrives at your doorstep with actual, physical soffits the question is hardly whether you can make them (across the three line sizes) but rather if it will physically fit and run in the power and cooling profile that hall already has. This is exactly what this article sorts out: how much floor area, utilities and output each line size really gets you.
Start at the raw end. PVC material falls from a feeder into the screw extruder, melts and exits through the profiling die as one long panel profile. An air-cooling section then fastens that cross-section into place, and a synchronized cutter snips each panel to length. This arrangement, on your PVC soffit panel production line at Anda sits along the floor in that order hence it is said to be a fixed path. They do not have the freedom to be shuffled about just to fit the room.
Vented soffit panels require perforation, but solid soffit panels do not. Punch the holes offline and you buy extra handling, risk bending a panel that is still warm and may leave burrs on some edges. The clean fix is a fast punching unit that gets monitored by the speed of the PLC holding it in line with an extruder online. Where the holes are supposed to land, they do; the punched edges should remain clean.
In this setup, you can do the marking of straight run first by planning hall along one axis. The air-cooling section is one of the longer parts on the line and helps determine how much floor length you are giving up. A 400 mm panel width and a haul-off height of 100 mm do not determine the working corridor; use the actual equipment layout drawing for this.
Place the online punching station between the cooling zone and cutter, giving clear corner space for another stacking rack where a forklift or two hands can build up bundles. Keep the cooling section straight and move storage off the line. Will keep things clean and give the crew room to work.
Power equals the number buyers undersize. The line operates on a variable-frequency scheme, with actual running power depending on the configuration and operating conditions -- which is not equal to the nameplate total for each motor listed. Design the electrical supply for connected and peak loads, not just running load, and specify the drive & low-voltage parts from branded providers so replacements remain available years after in-plant line.
Cooling splits into two jobs. The first is the air-cooling section, shaping and holding the panel into position. The other is managing heat in the screw and barrel when a high-filler compound is used. It processes calcium-carbonate filler through a screw and barrel selected for the compound, while barrel and die temperatures are controlled according to the equipment specifications. That maintains the melt and in turn helps reduce distortion of the panel.
The big differentiator between the three configurations is speed, and seeing that all three share a 400 mm maximum width, it boils down to just how much output does yours have? Do not size the line to whatever number someone might find at a brochure’s top end, but rather how many actual panels a year of demand requires.
Line size (model) | Line speed | Panel width |
SJZ65/132 + SJZ45/100 + YF400 | 1–8 m/min | 400 mm |
SJP75/28 + SJZ45/100 + YF400 | 1–10 m/min | 400 mm |
SJP90/32 + SJZ55/110 + YF400 | 1–20 m/min | 400 mm |
Due to the speed coupling of punching, the actual speed through the punched section may be lower depending on hole patterns and equipment — and that’s what determines panels per hour. The turnkey line has a reference output range of 90 kg/h through to a maximum of 330 kg/h depending on the configuration, which should be confirmed with the actual compound and panel specification.

Anda supplies everything from the raw-material mixer — through extrusion, calibration and precision cutting — all as one turnkey package within the soffit line; drive, low-voltage and temperature-control parts were selected so they’ll continue to be easy-to-source post-install. CE Certified Equipment is supported by Field Engineers of a local service center in India for installation, commissioning and operator training. These are the details behind the layout, power and output figures in this article; more than 1,000 lines are already in service. That sizing starts with Anda Machinery.

After being established in 2013, Zhangjiagang Anda Machinery Co., Ltd. specializes in providing plastic extrusion equipment and complete production lines including PVC soffit panel production line. Having a factory over 3000 square metres, its equipment is CE certified and a local service centre in India provides pre-sales, commissioning & after sales support. Anda has over 1,000 production lines in service; finished equipment delivery is usually about 30 to 40 days and the warranty runs for one year from installation. It is to be understood that layout on a soffit line is no after-thought, but rather it will already have been fixed before the first machine gets ordered. Nail the straight run, size electrical & cooling to the required load, and match line speed with actual output demand of the plant & now your line fits your building instead of the other way around. For a soffit project that must go on for years, that’s where the value’s in. Use Anda to put the three variables on a sheet and size it out.
Four questions come up most often while a buyer is planning the line.
It only runs down a single axis, the air-cooling section being one of the longer parts of the line so plan your hall along that long direction and leave floor space free from lifting equipment near where they stack. The 400 mm panel width and 100 mm haul-off height do not determine the working corridor; use the actual equipment layout drawing.
When provisioning, consider connected and peak electrical loads, not just normal running power under a variable-frequency design. The air-cooling system and the screw and barrel temperature control both need to be considered — size them with the compound that will run on this line.
Yes. The online punching station, speed held in step by a PLC and perforated while moving down the line (which makes production more efficient because sections can leave with clean punched edges) is all about ventilation.
Anda has a delivery time of around 30–40 days for finished equipment depending on model and quantity. Shipping, installation, commissioning and trial running require additional time. It is CE certified, comes with a year warranty from the time of installation and post sales & commissioning run through the local service centre in India.
